The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University is pleased to announce the establishment of the Weinberg Fellowships in architectural history and preservation. Two to four Fellowships will be awarded each year, and will run concurrently with the Academy’s other residential fellowships.
Funded with generous support from the Sidney J. Weinberg, Jr., Foundation in conjunction with the Academy’s new International Observatory for Cultural Heritage, these Fellowships will be devoted to the understanding and conservation of architecture in any geographic area and period.
Fellows receive a stipend, health benefits, travel allowance, and an office in the Academy.
Applications are encouraged from all countries; candidates must be at the post-doctoral or faculty level.
