The University of Puget Sound invites applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of early modern European history, Mediterranean focus. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester, to include lower-division surveys of European history from the fourth to seventeenth centuries and upper-division courses in areas of interest. Teaching expertise in the Renaissance or Islam is welcome.

The position is a full-time, sabbatical replacement for the 2017–2018 academic year.
