Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor in Religious Studies with a specialization in early Christian studies.

The position is for academic year 2018-2019 with a possibility of renewal for 2019-2020. The teaching load is five courses for the year, and advising on senior theses is anticipated. Specific course subjects are open, but preference will be given to candidates whose courses can engage with critical and feminist theory.
