Lire les Archives de l’Athos / Διαβάζοντας τα Αρχεία του Αγίου Όρους / Reading the Archives of Mount Athos, Byzantine and Christian Museum & French School at Athens, November 18–20, 2015
A conference will celebrate on 18-20 November 2015 in Athens the 70th anniversary of the series «Archives de l’Athos». Refounded by Paul Lemerle in 1945, this series is dedicated to the publication of Greek documents preserved in the Mount Athos monasteries until 1500. The conference will assess the contribution of these archives to Byzantine studies and will propose new avenues of research.
