The Polonsky Foundation Greek Manuscripts Project: a Collaboration between the Universities of Cambridge and Heidelberg is a three-year project which is conserving, cataloguing and digitising the medieval and early modern Greek manuscripts held in Cambridge collections, including the University Library, the Fitzwilliam Museum and the colleges, alongside the Greek manuscripts of the Bibliotheca Palatina.
An outreach coordinator post is now available to plan, coordinate and deliver the outreach and educational programme for this project; it is anticipated that this will be primarily or exclusively online. The roleholder will be responsible for designing and producing online and audiovisual educational and outreach materials incorporating content generated by the project.
Candidates should have experience of planning and delivering outreach activities and of designing or producing online educational or outreach materials. They should also have enthusiasm for and a basic knowledge of Classics or the Ancient or Medieval world.
This post is based at the University Library. However, our Libraries are currently offering limited in person services, and as such our staff are temporarily working a mixture of arrangements, including some on premises, some remotely, and some a mixture of the two. Which arrangements are currently most appropriate for this post will be discussed at interview.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance.
