The Art History Department at Mt. San Antonio College invites applications for Professor of Art History, Ancient-Medieval. The successful applicant will teach History of Western Art: Prehistory through Gothic, plus an an Honors section, and related courses, such as A History of Greek and Roman Art and Architecture and/or Rome: The Ancient City and/or Art and Culture of Pompeii and/or History of Medieval Art and Architecture. Significant broad or interdisciplinary coursework in the art history and visual cultures of the Ancient World, such as the Ancient Mediterranean, Ancient West Asia, Egypt, or North Africa, and the ability to teach or develop lower-division (first/second-year level) courses in the Ancient World, such as the Ancient Mediterranean, Ancient West Asia, Egypt, or North Africa are desirable.
