The department of Language, Culture, History and Communication at the University of Southern Denmark seeks to fill a position as full professor of ancient and medieval Greek literature starting 1 February 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The research profile can have its emphasis in either classical or byzantine literature. The successful candidate is expected to work within the study programme of classical studies and within the research agenda of the Centre for Medieval Literature; a wide chronological and comparative approach to Greek literature will therefore be considered a strength.
