The newly founded Centre for Mediaeval Nubia, part of Department of Nubiology at the Polish Academy of Sciences, seeks two young scholars whose duties will comprise:

• participation in the main research tasks of the Centre including building and updating of databases and processing of archived documentation of archaeological research in the Middle Nile Valley;
• personal research projects including preparation of PhD thesis;
• preparation of at least one scientific paper within the scope of research programme of the Centre during employment period;
• submission of at least one application for support of a research project.
