Yale University’s Department of the History of Art announces a postdoctoral fellowship in the Physical History of Art, start date January 1st 2016, or later by mutual agreement and ending June 30th, 2018.
Candidates must have a PhD in the History of Art, and have a developed interest in the physical analysis of works of art. The successful candidate will co-ordinate a series of workshops and will teach a graduate seminar on the Physical History of Art, working closely with conservators, curators and researchers at Yale. Applicants should have some museum experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is accompanied by a relocation allowance and research funds.
