The Newberry is currently accepting applications for Long-Term fellowships. Long-Term Fellowships are available to postdoctoral scholars who wish to be in residence at the Newberry for periods of 4 to 12 months. Applicants for long-term opportunities must hold a PhD by the application deadline.
Long-Term Fellowships are intended to support individual scholarly research and promote serious intellectual exchange through active participation in the Newberry’s scholarly activities, including fellows’ seminars and the weekly colloquium. Awardees may combine these fellowships with sabbatical or other stipendiary support.
