Neograeca Medii Aevi VIII, University of Ioannina, October 3–6, 2024

The Department of Philology of the University of Ioannina, on the urging of numerous previous participants, is organizing the 8th International Neograeca Medii Aevi Conference, which will be held in honor of Professor Emeritus Ioannis K. Mavromatis. The theme of the symposium will be Byzantine and Early Modern Greek Vernacular Literature. Text tradition, Reception and Editions.

The conference will revolve around three thematic axes: the tradition, reception and editions of the texts of Byzantine and Early Modern Greek Vernacular Literature.

The languages of the conference are Greek, English, German, French and Italian.
