The Department of Classics and Ancient History, University of Warwick invites outstanding early career postdoctoral researchers to contact us with a view to applying for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2023, lasting for one or two years. These are designed to support mobility, interdisciplinary research, and career development.
To be eligible to apply you must:
- Be in possession of a doctoral degree before 13 September 2023
- Have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date that you were awarded your doctorate
- Must not have resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies) in the country of the selected Host Institution for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.
Our Department has particular interest in hosting researchers working within areas relevant to our research clusters:
- Ancient Literature and Thought
- Ancient Numismatics
- Ancient Spaces
- Classical Epigraphy
- Medical Humanities and Greco-Arabic Studies
