Each year the Société d’études syriaque organizes a thematic round table for the benefit of its members and all those interested in Syriac culture in the East, Asia, and the West. The theme of the 17th round table to be held on November 15 at the Institut Protestante de Théologie (Paris) is Les Syriaques à l’époque ottomane (XVIe- début XXe siècle). It is organized by Bernard Heyberger (EHESS / EPHE).
