Les plaisirs à Byzance/Pleasures in Byzantium, Thessaloniki and Kastoria, July 2–13, 2018

The organization 'Byzantine Thessaloniki' and the CéSor of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris, are organizing a French/English summer school on the topic ‘Les plaisirs à Byzance’/’Pleasures in Byzantium’, which will take place in Thessaloniki and Kastoria 2-13 July 2018.

To enable students to participate, the organizers are offering 40 scholarships covering the following costs: 1) Accommodation in Thessaloniki and Kastoria (hotel and half-board); 2) Participation in the courses; 3) Excursions.

Eligibility

• Students enrolled in a Master’s program
• Doctoral students
• Students enrolling in Master’s or doctoral programs in 2018
• The students who have got their PhD in 2016 or 2017

Applicants must declare intention to apply by March 21, 2018. Applications due March 31, 2018.
