The Faculty of University of Wales Trinity Saint David is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in the Late Antiquity period with a particular focus upon either Ancient Religions or Ancient Medicine. Experience in teaching, delivery, assessment and student support at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Late Antiquity with particular reference to Ancient Medicine or Ancient Religions will therefore be required.

The post holder will be required to devise a range of teaching and assessment materials, covering several modules within the broadly defined subject areas above. The post holder will be required to deliver teaching in a variety of different learning environments and use a variety of teaching styles and approaches.

The post holder will offer both academic and pastoral feedback and support to students and will undertake scholarship, research, training or project work, to ensure ongoing professional development and to enhance the profile of both the Faculty and University. The post holder will make a positive contribution to the day to day activities of the Faculty that may cover areas such as dissertation supervision, student recruitment, marketing activities, research seminars and workshops, staff training and professional development.
