The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Hamburg invites applications for Junior Professorship for Archaeometry (W1 with Tenure Track leading to a W2). Applicants are expected to teach and conduct research in archaeometry. They should focus on the field of material analyses (e.g. stone, pigments, ceramics).
The successful candidate will take part in the University’s core research area, Manuscript Cultures, and will be involved in the Cluster of Excellence “Understanding Written Artefacts” as well as in the field projects of the Institute for Archaeology and Cultural History of the Ancient Mediterranean.
