Cristina Dondi is Oakeshott Senior Research Fellow in the Humanities at Lincoln College, Oxford, and Secretary of the Consortium of European Research Libraries (CERL). She is the Principal Investigator of the 5-year project 15cBOOKTRADE, funded by the European Research Council (ERC), which started in April 2014. Cristina was one of the editors of the Bodleian catalogue of incunabula, Bod-inc (OUP 2005), and the creator of the international databases Material Evidence in Incunabula (MEI).
Her research focuses on the history of printing and the booktrade in the 15th century, using the surviving books as primary sources for Economic and Social History, the integration of provenance research data as a means to reconstruct dispersed collections, the transmission of texts in print, and on liturgical books, both manuscript and printed. Her last publication is Printed Books of Hours from Fifteenth-Century Italy. The Texts, the Books, and the Survival of a Long-Lasting Genre, Biblioteca di Bibliografia Italiana, 204 (Florence: Olschki, 2016).
