Up to 7 grants are available to recent university and college graduates who would like to conduct independent research and/or to study in Greece during academic year 2018-2019.

Applications will be considered from well-qualified students in all fields and at all degree levels that require minimal supervision. The Fulbright Foundation especially encourages applications in: Modern Greek studies, social sciences, education policy, government/public administration, arts /culture, environmental sciences and business.

Graduate level students of classical, Byzantine and contemporary Greece who wish to conduct research at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) are also welcome to apply. A separate application to the ASCSA must be filed simultaneously with the Fulbright application (deadline October 11).

Applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Permanent residents are not eligible.
