On May 31, Khodadad Rezakhani, historian of Global Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages at  Leiden University, will deliver the lecture "From ‘the Last Great War of Antiquity’ to ‘Futuhat’: Eastern Mediterranean Between the Sasanians and Byzantium." This event is organized by the London Society for Medieval Studies and will be chaired by Valentina A.
