The Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS), with funding from the Einstein Foundation Berlin (Einstein Foundation Doctoral Program), invites applications for three (3) doctoral scholarships at Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for the summer semester 2024, starting 01 March 2024.

The dissertation projects should include a significant digital research component.

Acceptance of a scholarship is linked to admission to one of the five doctoral programs of the BerGSAS, each of which is based on a structured curriculum. The scholarship entails obligatory participation in digital components of the curriculum.

Applicants (m/f/d) must hold an outstanding university degree (M.A., M.St., M.Sc., Dipl.) in an Ancient Studies discipline or in a related discipline.
