Digital Visualisation Colloquium, University of Reading, March 31, 2016
A colloquium on digital visualisation in the humanities will be held at the University of Reading on March 31. The program features a range of speakers from the UK, Sweden, Italy, and Cyprus, discussing a variety of academic and commercial reconstruction and visualisation projects. Speakers include:
- Professor James Packer, creator with Gil Gorski of a new digital model of the Roman Forum
- Tayfun Oner, creator of digital models of Byzantium and Babylon
- Patrick Gibbs, Centre for the Study of Christianity and Culture, University of York
- Dr. Luke Lavan, principal investigator, University of Kent’s Visualising Late Antiquity project
