Course on Greek and Oriental Manuscripts, Sorbonne Université (Paris 5e) and Collège Sainte-Barbe, Paris 5e, October 16–18, 2018

The course, from October 16 to 18 2018, will offer introductory training in working with Greek manuscripts as well as an introduction to East Christian manuscripts, particularly Coptic and Syriac. The course will cover paleography, history of the book, and history of texts.

Sessions will be led by members of the Greek and East Christian Sections of the Institut de recherche et d’histoire des textes and Brigitte Mondrain (EPHE), Muriel Debié (EPHE), and Alain Desreumaux (CNRS).
