Coptic Literature in Context. The Contexts of Coptic Literature: Late Antique Egypt in a Dialogue between Literature, Archaeology and Digital Humanities, Third PAThs International Conference, Sapienza Università di Roma, February 25–27, 2019
PAThs is an ERC granted project (Advanced Grant 2015) aimed at providing an in-depth diachronic understanding and effective representation of the geography of Coptic literary production and in particular of the corpus of literary writings, almost exclusively of religious contents, produced in Egypt between the 3rd and the 11th centuries in the Coptic language.
The PAThs team is pleased to announce the 3rd PAThs Conference, Coptic Literature in Context. The Contexts of Coptic Literature: Late Antique Egypt in a dialogue between literature, archaeology and digital humanities, which will be held in Rome, from February 25th to 27th, 2019. On that occasion, the Archaeological Atlas of Coptic Literature, main scientific product of the PAThs project, will be officially launched.
