Byzantine Hagiography: Texts, Themes and Projects

Byzantine Hagiography: Texts, Themes and Projects lead image

The study of Byzantine hagiography is of necessity interdisciplinary, encompassing as it does a diverse range of scholarly fields, methodologies, and languages. This volume, which contains the proceedings from a conference of 2012 at St Tikhon's Orthodox University of Moscow, reflects this diversity, with papers touching upon themes including philology, art history, and hymnography.
