This is an intensive two-week course. Teaching will be delivered in the form of lectures and seminars both in the classroom or as part of on-site visits in museums and archaeological sites. The language of instruction is English. Field trips will include a tour of Byzantine remains of Athens and on-site lectures at the Byzantine and Christian Museum, the Benaki Museum, the Benizelos Mansion and Kyriazopoulos Traditional Pottery Collection. Field trips and visits will take place at the Monasteries of Dafni, Hosios Loukas, Orchomenos and at the Byzantine town of Mystras.
