Applications are invited for five, 12-week Fellowships in the Digital Humanities offered each summer by Beth Mardutho. Fellows work on various Syriac Digital Humanities projects including TEI/XML encoding Hugoye volumes and Manna’s lexicon, OCR, lexcographical SEDRA projects, and enriching Beth Mardutho’s online library and offerings.
Applicants must have completed at least one year of university-level Syriac.
All fellows receive a stipend towards travel and housing, a book grant from Gorgias Press, and free registration for Beth Mardutho’s summer Intermediate-Advanced Syriac class.
