The Department of History of Art at the University of York seeks to appoint an Associate Lecturer in History of Medieval Art for a 17-month period from September 2022, to provide replacement teaching for Dr Hanna Vorholt, who has been awarded a Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowship.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in the History of Art (or equivalent experience), and an appropriate academic professional and teaching qualification, or a willingness to complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice. You will have detailed knowledge of the history of medieval art sufficient to develop research-led teaching and provide relevant learning support to students across different levels of academic ability.
