The University of Mary Washington invites applications for a tenure-track position in Mediterranean Religions of Late Antiquity, focused on early Christianity as the area of specialization.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach the introductory courses in Christian Beginnings, Hebrew Bible, and Judaism. The Religion Program has interests in gender studies and sexuality, religion and politics, and contemplative traditions.
This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Ph.D. in Religious Studies required. Preliminary interviews will take place at the AAR in Atlanta.
