Princeton Theological Seminary invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Early Christian Studies. The research and publication specialization is open, but candidates must be outstanding scholars whose work in early Christianity’s theological, cultural and social aspects prepares them to teach an introductory survey course on early and medieval church history, the traditional history of doctrine, and varieties of early Christianity outside the Roman Empire. Review of applications begins October 1, 2016. Appointment begins July 1, 2017.

The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of a tenure-track Assistant Professor and must be qualified to guide interdisciplinary research, supervise Ph.D. students, and serve as faculty in the Seminary’s Department of History and Ecumenics.
