The Department of History at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, seeks an Assistant Professor on the Tenure Track in Ancient History with a focus on the Mediterranean world including West Asia and North Africa. The successful candidate is expected to teach both introductory survey courses and upper-division electives in Ancient History, as well as graduate seminars in the candidate’s areas of expertise. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in subfields, including, but not limited to, gender history, environmental history, military history, human-animal studies, and mythology.
