Truman State University seeks a diverse pool of applicants for a full-time non-tenure-track assistant professor in Ancient World History (field open) to begin August 2021. The successful applicant has the possibility of reappointment for up to three additional years (9-month contracts), depending on performance, department needs, and funding.
The successful applicant will teach upper-division major electives, lower-level surveys, and graduate courses in in ancient history, supervise undergraduate research, contribute to university-wide interdisciplinary programs, fulfill additional faculty duties, and provide service to the university and community.
This position requires a PhD in Ancient World History (field open) or closely related field.
