In recognition of its pioneering role in the study of Anatolia, Koç University's Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) collaborates with prestigious institutions to offer a limited number of joint fellowships for PhD students as well as Post-Doctoral and Senior scholars. 

BIAA – ANAMED Joint Fellowship in Heritage Studies
The BIAA and ANAMED joint fellowship will support research in heritage studies, concerned with the understanding, promotion, and/or preservation of the historical and archaeological material culture of Türkiye and the Black Sea region with particular reference to specific sites, monuments, or regions. Successful applicants should have an MA or PhD qualification in museology, heritage management, conservation, or a related specialization, or have appropriate and comparable professional experience in these fields.

Max-Planck-Institut’s Kunsthistorisches Institut (KHI) – ANAMED Joint Fellowship
The Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Max-Planck-Institut (KHI) and Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) are pleased to announce a joint fellowship to support Post-doctoral or Senior scholars conducting research on archaeology, architecture, art history, heritage, or history. The successful candidate will spend the fall semester at one institution, and the spring semester at the other.

KUDAR-ANAMED Joint Fellowship in Maritime Archaeology
The Koç University Mustafa V. Koç Maritime Archeology Research Center (KUDAR) and Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) joint fellowship supports a post-doctoral or senior scholar specializing in Maritime Archeology or a closely-related topic.

İAE – ANAMED Joint Fellowship
The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation İstanbul Research Institute (İAE) and Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (ANAMED) are pleased to announce a new joint fellowship to support one post-doctoral scholar conducting research on the archaeology, architecture, art history, heritage, or history of Istanbul.
