The Lost Books of Ammianus Marcellinus in Byzantine Historiography, Ioannou Centre for Classical & Byzantine Studies, Oxford, June 13, 2017, 5:00 pm

On June 13, 2017, the Oxford Centre for Byzantine Research will host its annual lecture and  drinks party at 5:00 pm. Warren Treadgold will deliver the lecture “The Lost Books of Ammianus Marcellinus in Byzantine Historiography.”

Warren Treadgold is National Endowment for the Humanities Professor of Byzantine Studies at Saint Louis University. Professor Treadgold’s current research focuses on Byzantine historians.
