The purpose of the AIEB & Serbian National Committee Grants for Younger Scholars is to allow participation at the 23rd International Congress of Byzantine Studies, 22-27 August 2016 Belgrade, with a paper or poster presentation. A maximum of 100 grants in the amount of 300 EUR (payable in local currency RSD at the congress registration desk) will be awarded.

Eligibility
PhD Students in Byzantine Studies and non-affiliated scholars holding a PhD; as an exception also affiliated scholars holding a PhD. Applicants of all nationalities except permanent residents of Serbia are eligible. Applicants should be under the age of 40 (born 1976 or later).
