Submissions are invited for Koç University’s Archaeology and History of Art Graduate Research Symposium. The 2016 topic is After the End: Re-contextualizing Death in Anatolia, the Mediterranean, and the Near East. Subjects could include (but are not limited to):

  • Human remains
  • How objects relating to death are displayed in museums
  • The ethics of funerary display/archaeological digs
  • Dark heritage and culture
  • The deliberate death and destruction of culture/heritage/objects
  • Commemoration
