Located 36 miles east of Atlanta on the original campus of Emory College in Oxford, Georgia, Oxford College of Emory University invites applications for a one-year Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach art history with specialization in either the ancient Mediterranean world or global Modern and Contemporary art & architecture after 1900. The successful candidate will teach a 3/3 course load, including two foundational art history survey courses (Prehistory to the Renaissance; Renaissance to the Present) and additional courses in their area of expertise.

We seek a candidate who holds a PhD in Art History or related field by the time of appointment; a commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds; a demonstrated track record of excellence and innovation in teaching at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will be committed to integrating their research into their courses.
