American Academy of Religion 2020 Annual Meeting, Boston, November 21–24, 2020

The 2020 Annual Meetings in Boston, MA, November 21–24, hosted by the American Academy of Religion and Society of Biblical Literature, is the world's largest gathering of scholars interested in the study of religion.

The AAR Eastern Orthodox Studies Unit is seeking paper proposals for four sessions including sessions on "The Past and Future State of (Orthodox) Theology" and "Universal Salvation."

The AAR Middle Eastern Christianity Unit is seeking paper proposals for three sessions including sessions on "Middle Eastern Christianity and Gender" and "Middle Eastern Christianity and Others in the City of the Late Antique East."

The AAR Traditions of Eastern Late Antiquity Unit is seeking paper proposals for four sessions: "Middle Eastern Christianity and Others in the City of the Late Antique East" (co-sponsored with Middle Eastern Christianity Unit), an open session, a session dedicated to the topic "Late Antique East: Time, Space and Text," and a session co-sponsored with the Qur'an Unit on "Translation, Transmission and Intertextuality."
