The Byzantine Studies Research Center at Boǧaziçi University, Istanbul, invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the fields of Byzantine history, art history, and archaeology. Conceived in the framework of expanding the scholarly activities of the Byzantine Studies Research Center, the nine-month position is expected to start in September 2020. The successful candidate must devote the entire Fellowship period to his/her research and may not accept any other job or teaching obligation during this period. The recipient of the Fellowship will be expected to spend the research period in Istanbul except for short research-related trips, and to participate in and contribute to the activities of the Byzantine Studies Research Center.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field and excellent command of English.
