A Gentle Introduction to 3D Modelling for Classicists, Institute of Classical Studies via Zoom, May 10–12, 2022

In this short, online workshop, we will introduce you to Sketchup Make, an easy-to-use tool for building architectural or other models. Through a mix of online videos to watch in your own time, and two live Zoom sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, we will practice reconstructing a ruined building from Pompeii, following the archaeological reports, dimensions and drawings. You will also have the opportunity to apply these skills to your own research interest, and receive feedback from the tutors in the live sessions.
