Newnham College, University of Cambridge invites applications from women graduates of any university, whose doctoral degrees are complete or very near completion, for a Research Fellowship in subjects falling within the general field of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The Fellowship is tenable for three years from 1 October 2023 and is not renewable.
The Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Research Fellowship may be held on a stipendiary or non-stipendiary basis, and it is possible to move from one basis to the other during the Fellowship period.
This year applications are sought from graduates working in a field covered by one of the following Faculties of the University of Cambridge: Architecture, Asian & Middle Eastern Studies, Divinity, History, History of Art.
Eligibility
- Applications will be accepted from any female graduate of a university within or outside the United Kingdom.
- Successful candidates are expected to be either graduate students, probably in the latter stages of their research leading to a PhD Degree, or post-doctoral researchers in their first appointment.
