The Archaeological Institute of America invites applications for Anna C. & Oliver C. Colburn Fellowships to support studies undertaken at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, Greece for no more than a year.

Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Canada. To be eligible, applicants must have been AIA members in good standing for at least two consecutive years (or one year for graduate students) by the application deadline. Applicants must be at the pre-doctoral stage or have received a Ph.D within five years of application.

Each applicant must apply concurrently to the ASCSA for associate membership or associate student membership but an applicant may not be a member of ASCSA during the year of application. Awarding of each Colburn Fellowship is contingent upon the applicant's acceptance by the ASCSA.
