Roberto Longhi Foundation for History of Art Studies announces the availability of a number of fellowships for the year 2016-2017, beginning October 1, 2016. The fellowships are designed for those, who seriously want to dedicate themselves to research in the History of Art.

Fellowship holders must frequent the Institute, cooperate on specific group research projects selected by the Scientific Committee and dedicate themselves full time to the research for which the fellowship is assigned. Therefore they may not work or collaborate with other institutions and they may not exceed the periods of vacations fixed by the Institute. They are required to live in Florence for the entire duration of the fellowship (except for travels necessary for their research) and attend seminars, lectures and other activities arranged by the Institute.

To be eligible, applicants must be under thirty-two before May 14, 2016.

Non-Italian citizens should have fulfilled the preliminary requirements for a Doctoral Degree in History of Art at an accredited university or an institution of equal standing.
