Long-Term Fellowships are available to postdoctoral scholars who wish to be in residence at the Newberry for periods of 4 to 12 months. Unless otherwise noted, applicants for Long-Term Fellowships must hold a PhD at the time of application. Long-Term Fellowships are intended to support individual scholarly research and promote serious intellectual exchange through active participation in the Newberry’s scholarly activities, including fellows’ seminars and a weekly colloquium.
