2016 American Academy of Religion Annual Meeting, San Antonio, November 19–22, 2016

The American Academy of Religion brings thousands of professors and students, authors and publishers, religious leaders and interested laypersons to its Annual Meeting each year. Co-hosted with the Society of Biblical Literature, the Annual Meetings are the largest events of the year in the fields of religious studies and theology.

The 2016 AAR and SBL Annual Meetings will be held November 19–22, in San Antonio, Texas. Registration and the Exhibit Hall will be located in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Academic sessions will be held in the Convention Center, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt, Marriott Riverwalk, Marriott River Center, and Hilton Palacio Del Rio. The Employment Center will be located in the Grand Hyatt San Antonio. Registration and housing for the Annual Meeting will open in late March.
